On January 30th, 2023 Colleen and Phil Timm lost their beloved son, Samuel. He has left this world far too early, and his parents are left with something no one should ever have to plan for. As Colleen stated today, "please pray for us and love those kids and each other...Sam had a heart full of love and freely expressed it....let's honor that always."
Sam was extremely bright and received high grades. He often helped many of his friends with their classes and took great pride in them achieving better grades. He knew everything about history and took many advanced Spanish classes. The violin and trumpet were part of his life through his early years in high school. Chess was another part of his life along with playing on his PS5, which he thoroughly enjoyed doing with his extended friend group. If you would ask his closest friends about his biggest love, they would all agree that it was his passion for cars. Sam's older brother, Adam, who he looked up to shared this same passion. There wasn't a family vacation that didn't include a visit to an exotic car dealership or finding themselves at a race track. Sam's smile, in the picture above, is a true depiction of what made Sam happy. This was recently taken at the Monza F1 Track in Italy.
Families are never prepared for the loss of a child. Unfortunately, there are many expenses that the Timm family are going to incur during this very difficult time. We are hoping, as a community, that we can all come together and help them defray some of this financial burden.
