Samurai Ju-Jitsu Academy Running Costs

Donation protected
Hi my name is Mark.
I am the Club Sensei at Samurai Ju-Jitsu Academy based in Sockfiled Mill in the Chadderton area of Oldham.
We teach traditional Japanese Martial Arts to students from 4 years to 16 years and then on through adulthood. Something we have done for the last 8 years.
We work with children of all ages, abilities and communities to help develop physical fitness, self-confidence and mental wellbeing, as well as learning a martial art.
Ultimately, this builds understanding, respect for others and breaks down barriers.
We are also planning to run an adult class for vunerable young men, something I feel an affinity to, having experienced the suicide truama of a close friend of mine.
This in turn will be extended to a womens self-defence class, once our female students are trained and qualified.
Comming out of "lockdown" our numbers significantly dropped, from 30+ students per lesson to around 3 due to our students simply getting out of the habit of training.
This was manageable initially untill our Dojo rent was doubled 3 months later. Although we are steadily building our numbers back up, the damage of COVID has been done.
We are currenly in danger of being closed down by our landlord due to lack of funding to us, to support our club. This is particularly annoying as we are almost sustainable again.
We are looking for an injection of funds to help us over this blip
Any donations made will be used to reduce some of the rent and also any left over will be put back into the club to make improvements for our students.
I appreciate I'm asking a lot of people who don't know me, but any amount will be a step closer to saving our club and allowing us to continue to support our local community.
The world is a strange palce at the moment, however, I feel that with the work we do in our community and the plans we have we can make a difference
Just one male and/or one female becoming strong enough to make postive changes to their mindsets and life would be a victory.
Just one child gowing up with love and understanding, instead of fear and hate would be a victory.

Please give genourously, whatever you can so we can keep this facility going and build a brighter future.

Every contribution will make a difference and help support us to survive in these difficult times.
