San Bernardino 8th St. Community Garden

Sisters We is looking to make an impact in the San Bernardino community by creating access to more green spaces in the city. Sisters We are Nedra, Vanessa, Adrienne and Kristin, all San Bernardino natives who have watched the rise and fall of the city over the years. 

We plan to use any donated funds to directly improve the 8th Street Community Garden. We need to purchase a fence (a local company agreed to install it for free!,) rent a tractor to till the land, and buy planter boxes, tools, plumbing, and so much more to create an amazing place that people want to visit and participate in.

If we reach our goal of $50,000 we plan to build a meditation garden where we can offer free yoga classes to the community. We plan to add solar panels and light up the space at night, too, so it's more than just a daytime spot. We also want to add a vegetarian restaurant in the building next door.

We have big plans for this space and we need the community's help to accomplish them.
