San Clemente COVID-19 Waves of Support Yard Signs

The "San Clemente Waves of Support" project is a local residential effort to show our gratitude and appreciation for our fellow San Clemente COVID-19 support workers! This project is primarily to shout out a giant "thank you" via yard signs to all the Healthcare Workers, First Responders and Essential Workers helping us survive this crisis. They are putting their lives at risk daily for people they do not even know in our community!
We are distributing yard signs with a suggested $10 or more donation. If you would like a yard sign, please send a private message with a San Clemente delivery address and phone number along with your donation. Signs will be placed on front porch in order to honor social distancing.

Funds raised from this project (above the cost of production) have been donated to the following:
* COVID-19 drive-up testing site personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff
* Partnership with local restaurants to provide FREE lunches every day for the COVID-19 testing site staff (most lunches donated)
* Billy's subs and yard signs to each of the San Clemente Fire Department staff
* Cassano's pizzas and yard signs to the San Clemente Lifeguards staff
*Yard signs to Sewers of South Ocean County (SOSOC) staff --they have sewn THOUSANDS of masks and donated them to healthcare workers and groups in need in South County and beyond!
*Billy's subs and yard signs to each of the CARE Ambulance Service Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
* Billy's subs and Schmid's Fine Chocolate custom "badges" to the San Clemente Sheriff's Department staff
* Billy's subs to the staff at MedHero Advanced Urgent Care and Wellness Center, San Clemente's alternative to the ER
* Sugar Blossom (local bakery) designed custom cookies for all of our Postal Workers in San Clemente
* Billy's subs to the staff at CR&R Environmental Services who provided uninterrupted waste and recycling services during COVID-19

One of the frequent questions we have been asked is if there is antibody testing at the drive-up testing site, and the answer at the moment is no. We will update if that changes. The drive-up testing site is now providing pre-op testing for surgery patients needing COVID-19 clearance as well as testing for those with a doctor's order who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
