San Diego Locals Tragic Hiking Accident

Jeff is a San Diego local, Navy veteran, personal trainer at Orange Theory and Fit downtown and an avid hiker. 

Chelsey grew up in San Diego, was a manager at ADP, a sales representative at Stryker, and also a fitness junkie. 

Jeff and Chelsey who are both fitness and outdoor enthusiasts prepared for months to climb Mt. Shasta.

On Saturday, September 26th, Jeff fell down an embarkment on the mountain due to the dangerous conditions of the icy climb. In an attempt to find her boyfriend, Chelsey tried to climb down to help. She ended up falling, breaking her femur, back, leg and ankle. Chelsey has currently gone through surgery and is with family in the hospital.
