San Juan de Dios Orphanage, Bolivia

These kids immediately began calling me "Papa Lucas" when they met me because they've never had parents and that's all they want.  If you sit down they will all come and find a spot to cuddle with you because every kid just wants to be held.  I promised the director of the orphanage (Hermana Clementina) that my friends and family were more than capable of raising $350 to help get them shoes and whatever else they might need, and I am not about to let them down.  I will match $1 to every $3 dollars we raise.  Let's help these incredibly cute, cuddly, and amazing children out guys!

Currently, the Covid-19 situation has really taken its toll on the facility and the kids really need help right now.  They need help now  significantly more than they did 9 months ago.  Anything helps, see attached list of what we are going to buy with raised funds.

*Update*  Christmas shoes and assorted presents were successfully purchased for the kiddos! THANK YOU EVERYONE!  Our original goal was $350 but I guess no one ever taught you guys how to quit.
