San Marcos High School Class of 2020

The San Marcos High School Project Graduation 2020 team is asking for your support to raise funds for the amazing San Marcos High School Class of 2020!   Our seniors have worked hard over the last 12 years and were within sight of the end of their senior year.  This was to be a time to celebrate their accomplishments and enjoy their final weeks together before moving on to begin their new journeys.   Prom 2020, Awards / Special Recognition Ceremonies,  Senior Trip, Senior Walk,  Commencement with family and friends present followed by Project Graduation and/or other personal gatherings in their honor.....the Class of 2020 will, unfortunately, not have these special events to cherish at least in the way they and their families and friends  had hoped and planned.  Most events have been or will be cancelled.  Some will take place in a modified format.  Our Project Graduation 2020 committee has worked hard this year to raise funds for their post commencement celebration.   We have approximately $6000 in our Project Graduation 2020 budget.  The actual Project Graduation event has been cancelled, of course, but we are continuing our fundraising campaign so that we can raise as much money as possible so that we can still lavish our deserving Class of 2020 with as many gifts as possible.  All funds raised will be used to purchase gifts or as cash prizes that will be given to randomly drawn seniors just as it would have happened at Project Graduation.   Our hope is to announce the prize winners during the 2020 Commencement ceremony in an effort to make this event a little more exciting and fun given that they are having to sacrifice spending this special time with their family, friends and peers.   

We have ALL made sacrifices during this time but it is in times like these that we must come together to support one another and give back to the fullest extent possible.    We ask for donations to be made by Monday, May 25, 2020.
