San Pedro (Santiago de Compostela) Neighborhood Pantry

A minimum of 500 Euros/month is needed to keep the pantry shelves stocked. I started this fundraiser on 1st August 2024 and will regularly update the fundraising goal to reflect this ongoing need. Muchas Gracias a tod@s! More photos and updates at the end of this text ;-)

My, not so little anymore, neighborhood pantry is now well into its fourth year and it's still very much needed as the cost of living has gone up considerably here in Spain (like everywhere!).

I am running this informal, no questions asked neighbourhood food bank to help people in need here in the San Pedro (Santiago de Compostela) neighbourhood with their basic necessities like groceries and cleaning supplies. To keep the shelves stocked – I, better said my neighbors, appreciate your help!

Your donations will be used to buy pantry groceries like:

Fresh fruit and vegetables

Staples like olive oil, coffee, pasta, rice, beans, sugar, etc.

Cleaning products like washing up liquid and detergent

Plus so much more that we, the more fortunate, take for granted!

I have set the fundraising goal to 500 Euro which is the minimum amount needed to keep the shelves stocked for one month - every contribution, large or small, helps to do this!
