San Sebastian Marathon for St. Mary’s Special School

I am running the San Sebastian Marathon on 24th November 2024 to raise funds for St. Mary’s Special School in Johnstown, Navan.

St. Mary’s Special School in County Meath caters for children with moderate to profound disabilities. Our son Oisin who has Down Syndrome is lucky enough to attend this school.

The staff and students of St. Mary’s Special School are due to move to a new school building in the very near future and I am fundraising to raise money towards equipment for the new playground area. Movement breaks and time at play in the outdoors is a very important and necessary part of the day for our children with additional needs. The first item on the list is a wheelchair accessible swing and this alone costs over €50,000.
