Sanad: Helping Displaced Palestinians
Donation protected
Sanad is a grassroots initiative, run by volunteers. 100% of all donations we raise go to Palestinians in need.
Hello, I am Amal, from Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. I’m a Social Development graduate and Youth Activist. I am passionate about youth and women's issues and defending women’s rights.
I have been stuck in Cairo since the beginning of the war. I am now volunteering my time to working with other Palestinians who are displaced & stuck here. Most of the people I’m helping are critically injured, and their families.
I volunteer my time to traveling to families homes, hearing their stories, and helping them get back on their feet. Many of the families need financial support for rent, hospital bills, or medications.
I also run an emotional support group, for us to gather as a community. These session allow us to connect, and support each other emotionally.
Sanad, meaning support in Arabic, is a volunteer-led community initiative committed to helping Palestinians living Cairo Egypt due to the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict.
Sanad intimately understands the unique challenges faced by their people. Sanad is addressing urgent and pressing needs of those stranded in Egypt, facing dire circumstances and an uncertain future.
