About Sanchia A Callender Inc
Sanchia Amanda Callender, BA, MS, LMHC
July 28, 1977 – August 6, 2017
We believe that the lives of people with developmental disabilities and youth in residential care matter. These are the people my late sister, Sanchia, cared deeply about in her personal and professional life. In her name we advocate for better resources, educate communities, and create programs to serve unmet needs. We bring together people from across Central New York, driving the change that will enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities and youth in residential care.
Sanchia A. Callender, Inc serves as a vehicle to continue supporting the people and work Sanchia did during her lifetime. Established in the wake of her loss her family set about building on her legacy of service, compassion, and integrity through the work of this organization. Sanchia’s compassion and dedication to providing service with integrity informs and inspires our work.
Funds raised here will be used to develop programs and services for our target populations.
