By some miracle, our house is still standing. We thought we didn't need help, but we are finally realizing we do. It is so hard for us to ask for help, but here it goes:

We left our house with a car full of stuff and moved to an Airbnb for the next week. We have no idea what comes next. Our home and neighborhood are completely inaccessible for the foreseeable future. We have no idea when we will be able to go back. There are so many everyday expenses and things we need to buy and we are realizing we just cannot afford to do this for much longer. We need help. We are so fortunate, and we feel so guilty asking, but this is the truth. We could be out of our home for a week, a month, a few months, we have no idea.

Our number one priority is to be helpful and serve our community. We have realized that we cannot do that if we have nothing left. Whatever money we do not use while we are displaced will be given to others in our community that need it. Not a penny will go to waste.
