Sandhurst Day Centre

Having said never, ever, ever, again ....... I find myself days away from the start line of the London marathon! When my dad passed away unexpectedly under tragic circumstances last year, I promised Diane, the manager at the Sandhurst Day Centre, that if I were ever daft enough to take on London again I would raise funds to support the incredible work that she and her team do. Dad loved attending the centre each week. The volunteers made him feel so welcome and they provided valuable support for both dad and mum. Their care and kindness was exceptional.

I am therefore running the London marathon on 27th April 2025 in memory of my dad and to support the Sandhurst Day Centre in continuing the fabulous work they do. It's going to be a family affair this year because my youngest son will be joining me on the start line in memory of his granddad. We hope funds raised may help Sandhurst Day Centre in replacing their minibus so that they can continue to reach local residents.
