The Family-
On September 24, 2011, Sandra and Jason began their life together as husband and wife. On February 8, 2012 their very premature son, Brock, arrived into the world. Jason was the sole provider and worked for over 15 years with the IBEW while Sandra’s focus was on Brock and the required medical attention he needed the first few years. Sandra over the past 5 years has worked for a company, which like many others during Covid, had to Furlough her then eventually eliminated her position.She has been unemployed the last few months and continues to seek and interview for jobs.
The Tragic Event-
On September 14,2020, unexpectedly, Jason ended his life by suicide. This tragic and shocking event has left the family emotionally distraught and financially burdened.
Unfortunately we discovered a few days ago, Jason’s Life Insurance Policy ($200,000) will not pay out due to the Suicide Clause. It was 3 months short of the "2-year Suicide Clause. This was a huge disappointment and the main reason for reaching out for help.
The People-
Jason growing up loved playing football, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family at The Campground.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and was an active member of The Masons.
Sandra enjoys taking care of Brock, being a mom, cooking, reading and she loves to draw. She is active in Brock’s Cub Scouts and sports.
Brock is the most loving, caring, compassionate 8 year old boy you could ever meet. He loves music, animals, riding his 4- wheeler, hiking, dinosaurs... I could go on and on.
The Opportunity-
The money raised will be going towards the immediate... unexpected debt that was left, medical bills, Brock and Sandra’s continued weekly Therapy, Tutoring, Sandra’s Car Payment, Insurance, Daily needs, Brock’s Scouts, sports, medical insurance, etc.
Future Needs- A small home of their own and Brocks education.
Sandra and Brock currently live with Sandra’s parents and will eventually want and need their own space to start a new life together again.
