My dear friend, Jacqui Spiller, is always putting others first. She is one of the most incredibly kind, thoughtful, and generous people I know -- and now she needs the support of her community.
Jacqui's mother, Sandra Young Whigham, is in the hospital after a severe cardiac event on November 25th. She's spent several days in the emergency room and intensive care unit. Her cardiac function is at 20% which is extremely low and has created a very critical situation for her heart.
Additionally, Sandra's been diagnosed with black mold poisoning from her apartment. They have since removed the mold but the doctor's have ordered her not to return. The apartment complex will not reduce her rent for the month of December and has only offered to allow her out of her lease. The renter insurance agency has declined her case and will not offer any compensation.
Sandra is extremely uncomfortable, and Jacqui's wonderful sister, Shannon, is by her side at the Northside Hospital Cherokee in Georgia. Jacqui and Shannon are under a lot of pressure and stress.
