Sandra Alvarado's Memorial Services

God of healing, please bring an end to this pandemic,
And all illness and disease.
Bless those who stand in service to humanity.
Bless those who grieve.
Bless the dead,
So that their souls are bound up in the bond of life eternal.
And grant those still afflicted
With disease or trauma
A completed and lasting healing,
One-by-one,
Until suffering ceases,
And we can stop counting the dead,
In heaven and on earth.

Amen

On February 10, 2021, Sandra Alvarado gained her wings and went to rest with the good Lord, upon losing a courageous battle against COVID-19. Throughout  many months Sandra fought tenaciously for her family; her beloved daughter, Monica Marie Jordan, and her cherished grandson Travis Lee Ryan.

Her family could not be more proud of the strength, bravery, and resilience that  she showed against this deadly virus.

Sandra had a radiant soul that touched the lives of many, but it was Monica and Travis to whom she dedicated the depths of her heart and soul. Together they created a beautiful world of their own, and though that world might feel less complete now, the three of them have created many memories that will last a lifetime.

Sandra was the ultimate mom and grandma; she was supportive, caring, and thoughtful, never forgetting to get her babies their Halloween or Valentine's Day treats. She was understanding, wise, and willing to give the best advice. Most of all, Sandra was full of fun and laughter.

Her presence could light up a room. She was sweet, honest, and often hilarious. She was an amazing teacher, a committed friend, and colleague, always willing to make your day a bit brighter, so as long as you were a fellow Dallas Cowboys or Los Angeles Lakers fan.

What is most heartbreaking about this situation is that Sandra was robbed of her time with her daughter and grandson. Had it not been for this awful pandemic, Sandra would be here now, playing with Travis, singing her favorite songs

Please help us in supporting Sandra's family during this unprecedented time. All donations will go directly to her daughter (Monica Jordan) to aid with funeral costs. Monica is an outstanding person and an exemplary citizen in the El Paso community.

Monica, we are proud to call you a friend and will always stand by you and support you.

Thank you, everyone, for your generosity.
