Sandra's Tomorrow

Imagine terrorists barging in, turning your home into a battlefield. Bullets, flames, and the inconceivable loss–a 9-month old child dying in your arms as gunshots rip through your body.

This was the plight for Sandra Cohen, a paediatric nurse, wife, and mom of three. On October 7th, Sandra and her husband Ohad were shot multiple times, their home set on fire, and her 9-month old daughter Milla, murdered via a machine gun bullet that pierced through Sandra’s arm.

They managed to escape through a window, only to be caught by the terrorists, who subjected Sandra and her sons to a heart-wrenching display of cruelty; Ohad was executed before their eyes.

Terrorists then took Sandra and her sons captive. Hours later, she and her sons were eventually freed.

The scars both physical and emotional, run deep. Sandra bears wounds in her leg, lung, and arm, while 9-year old Liam, suffered head trauma from the shrapnel, undergoing two surgeries since that dark day.

Sandra and her boys are on a tumultuous road to recovery—they're homeless with limited resources. She is in a need of a safe haven to bring her boys home and start their healing journey.
