SANDS UNITED BLAW TOURNAMENT

Raising money for Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society). We have over 50 men from 4 teams from the south west coming together toplay for their babies and help raise as much money for a charity so close to all their hearts.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

Sands United   Bristol are part of the network of Sands United football clubs around the country. We are a team that provides a unique avenue of support for men affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth. Many men have reached out to Sands United Bristol FC for support because they didn’t feel the traditional avenues of support were for them.

Each member of the team wears a shirt that carries meaning for them. We all chose a squad number that is important to us and we play with our babies names on the shirt near our hearts. We are all part of a club that nobody wants to be a part of but one that has the highest cost of membership.

We play for the best worst team in football.
