Sandy Blount has done so very much for the afghan hound community.  She has saved numerous hounds from horrible situations overseas and here in America for many years, including mine.  Now she is in need.  One of her personal dogs became deathly ill and needed emergency care.  The bill has topped $10,000.00.  She needs a new rescue van and had her eye on an older used van.  But now that is out of the question.  This vet bill has consumed everything.   She has done so much for so many.  It is time to give back.  (P.S. almost every afghan hound in this photo was rescued by Sandy.  Many of them were in horrific condition and would not have survived without her compassion.  And this is a small fraction of the afghan hounds (and other breeds) she has saved over the years).
