Sandy Ducharme and Vermont Rug Hooking Studio

Donation protected
As many of you know, my mother, local artisan, teacher, and life-long Cabot resident Sandy Ducharme, was forced to close her studio due to the floods that devastated downtown Cabot Village Vermont, this summer. The building is under repair, and Sandy needs financial assistance to finish the remediation and remodeling of the studio space. Repairs include flooring, new doors, paint, cleaning, and labor. Sandy hopes to finish repairs and remediation with a grand reopening of her studio space anticipated for November 2023. Without income since the flood, it is a challenge to cover the repair and reopening costs. It is important that we support this wonderful asset to our community. Any donation you make is appreciated. Let us help Sandy to reopen in Cabot Village, and support our famous rug hooker and teacher who was inducted into the Rug Hooking Hall of Fame this summer.
