Sandy Koontz Plum Explosion Disaster Fund

Hello, my name is Lori Whitfield and this fundraiser is for a truly WONDERFUL and caring Veterans Administration Health Care RN named Sandy Koontz. Her home was severely damaged by the recent explosion in Plum Borough. At this time she does not know if they will classify her home as habitable because the damage is extensive. She is holding up as best as she can.

Just briefly about Sandy, she was not home at the time of the explosion, (10 minutes sooner and she would have been). Upon arriving, Sandy immediately went into RN triage mode assisting the injured and even helping one badly burned person into the ambulance to be rushed to the hospital. Even with her own home damaged...she put the needs of others first. This is Sandy Koontz, RN.

Please give what you can to Sandy, her family and, her fur babies who are in a safe place at this time. She will need to replace just about everything, as she has lived on Rustic Ridge for 20 years. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
