Sandy Roberts Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Our beloved, Sandy Roberts, recently and unexpectedly passed on Friday, June 19th. This beautiful lady, Chris' & my Mother, and my boys' Mamaw, was just as beautiful a soul, and a wonderful sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend who blessed the lives of those around her with the absolute most warm and genuine smile I have ever seen.
She leaves behind sons: Gary (& Kristie) Roberts II, & Christopher Roberts; grandsons: Evan, Garrison, & Easton Roberts; siblings: Angela (& Charles) McQueen, Kenny Garden, Jeff Garden; & many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mom dedicated her life to her family. I was going through some of her stuff and found an old planner. In it, on a specific date of accomplishment for me and my brother, I found in her handwriting, "So proud of my boys!!"
Her Grandsons thought she hung the moon, and likewise, she thought they hung the moon. She loved watching and participating with her children and grandchildren in all sorts of activities. She loved traveling with them, birthday dinners, riding go-carts with them, watching them play their various sports, and learning about & playing those sports with them!
We are all devastated by Mom's unexpected passing and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Mom the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mom’s funeral. We need to raise $8,000 by July 22 in order to satisfy our obligation for the funeral service. In addition to the funeral costs, we will be responsible for other unexpected costs in the coming months, including upkeep of her property while sorting through the probate process.
The fact that Kristie is in the middle of recovering from a major surgery, and is out of work without pay for the next few weeks only compounds these financial hurdles.
We know that this time is a financially difficult one for many people, and we understand if you aren't able to help financially. If that is the case, we accept and fully appreciate your thoughts and prayers for our entire family. If you are able to help, regardless of the amount, know that we appreciate your generosity, and accept your gift in good faith. All blessings will be utilized for the sole purpose of things related to Mom's passing, funeral, medical, and legal/probate expenses.
Also, please know that when we are on the other side of this financial burden, your generosity will be paid forward in Mom's honor.
Thank you so much and have a blessed day.
