Sandy Shaw Wrongful Conviction

Donation protected
After a long battle, witnesses finally came forward to tell the truth, and Sandy Shaw was released from prison after 21 years, at age 37, having been incarcerated at the tender age of 15. IT  was proven she was railroaded and wrongly convicted by a Las Vegas prosecutor who later resigned when threatened with disbarment for serial misconduct by the Nevada State Bar Association.

Yet, her condition was not a full pardon, but a parole, a lifetime parole in which she has never been truly free.  Under Nevada law, a person on lifetime parole can petition the courts to be freed from parole after ten years. Sandy has been out of prison now for 11 years, gainfully employed and leading a normal life.

She can now petition the Pardons Board, but it costs money for legal counsel to make that happen. She hopes to retain William Terry, a well known Las Vegas criminal attorney who aided her case when she was in prison.

That is the purpose of this fund.

Sandy Shaw, the youngest female ever to be incarcerated in an adult prison, had her entire youth stolen from her due to perjured testimony engineered by a crooked district attorney. She deserves justice and to be truly free after all these years.
