Sandy's House (recovery residence)

Tax deductible
THE MISSION of Sandy's House is to serve women broken by addiction.  The twelve month program will provide housing and faith based training to help restore self-worth and value.  We believe an active relationship with Jesus Christ is the key to freedom and we will encourage and support women through daily discipleship. The goal for Sandy's House is to enable women to transition back to being an active part of our community through establishing new work ethics, providing job training and to restore broken relationships and families.

THE STORY of Sandy's House began in 2013 when Sandy and Brooke were working together at a faith based recovery house where they had both successfully completed the program and were currently active as Program Director and Resident Manger, respectively. Their dream was to establish a recovery house that not only provided faith-based training, but also education and job training to help women successfully transition back to being a productive part of society. They realized the real work began once you left the safety of a structured, spiritual environment and they wanted to see a program that would give a solid spiritual foundation as well as the tools women needed to be successful in their daily lives.
They began the work of forming a non-profit but in 2014, due to complications from her alcohol addiction, Sandy passed away. Brooke continued to believe God had a plan and at a Ladies’ Retreat in 2016, approached Donna, a jail chaplain and worship leader. Donna had been leading worship at the retreat and sharing her story of meeting women at the jail--most of whom are there because of addiction. Brooke and Donna had a dinner meeting and as Brooke shared her story and dream of a recovery house, Donna knew it was something she felt called too as well.
In August of 2016, Sandy’s House became a 501 (c)(3) non-profit and a Board of Directors was organized. Brooke, Donna, Kris, Patti and Ben make up the Board of Directors and their first goal is to find the physical house that will be Sandy’s House!

THE GOAL is to raise funds to purchase property and/or a house and to provide scholarships to meet the needs of the women who are enrolled in our program.
