Sandy’s Muffulettas Needs a Home!

Hi! We’re Peterson and Moni, the creators of the Sandy’s muffuletta! We lost our restaurant jobs during the pandemic and started selling delicious muffulettas at pop-ups around San Francisco. If you haven’t tried our sandwich, its stacked high with sopresstta, mortadella, prosciutto and provolone and finished with house made spicy olive spread. Peterson’s from New Orleans, and these things are no joke! We’ve been popping up out of the back of a bottle shop, but unfortunately had to abruptly leave that location. Now we’re faced with the daunting goal of finding our own brick and mortar and really making this business happen.

Our goal is to have our own brick and mortar. We want to create the good vibes and energy you find in New Orleans. In our space, you’ll walk in the door and know you are welcome and belong. The friendly atmosphere will force you to let your guard down, relax, and have a good conversation. Maybe you might dance a little bit to the music. But ultimately, you will come for the delicious food!

But getting into a commercial space in SF is no easy task right now. Our abrupt departure from our last space means we need a little help with the initial costs of a lease. The funds will go toward rent deposits, permits, construction and furniture, to name a few. So, if you can help, we promise to keep these sandwiches coming! We are so grateful to everyone who’s had one of our muffulettas and hope we get to keep going!
