Saniha Sana Cekic Ongoing Charity Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, October 13th, 2019, fifteen-year-old, Saniha Sana Cekic (2004-2019) lost her life in a devastating car accident. Saniha was an ambitious honor student at Edward R. Murrow High School. She dreamed of studying medicine or law. She left behind her a heartbroken father, mother, twin brother and many others who love her so much and who are deeply impacted by her loss. She spread happiness and laughter wherever she was and touched so many at such a young age. Now that Saniha has returned to Allah, we want to do something great for her.
Together we can benefit Saniha and return the joy she brought to our lives by building something memorable in her name. This project will take place in Gusinje-Plav, a town where she spent every summer and a place she called home. Skender Radoncic, Began's nephew, will take part in the planning process of this project. Her father, Began Cekic, has voiced a deep wish to grow this ongoing charity that will benefit Saniha, and us, as she resides in her grave waiting for the Day of Judgement
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When a person dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, or beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who will pray for him” (Muslim).
We passionately ask for your kindness and contribution and thank those who support this effort. Together, let us give back to Saniha and show her and her family that we will always be with her. InshAllah.
