Hello, I'm Yoshika Minoli De Silva, and I'm reaching out for your support to commemorate my daughter, Sanjana Charitha De Silva. We aim to raise funds to assist children born with heart defects, ensuring they receive the crucial medical treatment they need.

Sanji was deeply passionate about helping children in need, dedicating her time to uplift them. During our visits to Sri Lanka, she actively contributed to a Down’s Syndrome School and made a lasting impact on my afterschool program. Serving as the director of New Voices 4 Kids for two years, Sanji taught civic engagement through film to underrepresented youths. Professionally, she created AI-generated video clips, expressing her excitement about using technology to make human emotions understandable for individuals on the Autism spectrum.

Even after her untimely passing, I discovered Sanji's future goals, which included a project aimed at creating videos to guide teens through adversity. To honor Sanji's legacy of helping children, we're raising funds to facilitate life-saving surgery for babies with heart defects. This initiative will be carried out through the Children's Heart Surgery Project run by the Rotary Club of Colombo West.
