Fight againstTHALASSEMIA (major) - Slow Killer Disease in Kids
THALASSEMIA (major) is a serious, genetic blood disorder, which gets detected in the child between the age of 3 to 6 months, which is characterized by the inability to produce appropriate hemoglobin, leading to premature loss of Red Blood Cells. As a consequence, oxygen does not get carried to the tissues and cells of the body, leading to fatal consequences. Lifelong blood transfusions are required for survival. The only permanent cure available today is a Stem Cell Transplant, which is practically beyond the reach of the patient.
Suffering Kids have no option in life and no way to support treatments and life.
This is small step towards helping helpless kids!!
