Christmas Is About Giving

Thousands of Ukrainian children fled to the United States when Russia brought war to their country. This will be their first Christmas in the US, and we want to make it special.

Ukrainian children have lost so much during the year. We want to give them something they dream of. Let’s make their wishes come true!

Please donate money to our gift drive, and we will buy a gift on your behalf. You can also buy a gift yourself by going directly to children's wishlists.

Our Emergency Housing Team (Nova Ukraine) has worked with Ukrainian refugee families throughout the year, trying to make them feel welcome and helping them with various problems – everything from housing to living essentials and food. Now we want to give them and their children a bit of hope and happiness this holiday season.

We asked Ukrainian childen to write their wishes to Santa Claus. Then we created anonymous Amazon wishlists, each matching a child’s letter.

Of course, all Ukrainian kids have one main wish: to return home and get their old lives back. But they also would certainly enjoy receiving a gift, to have something to play with, and to regain a sense of normality in this disastrous moment of their life.
