Santa Lew's Medical Expenses

For the last 30 years, Santa Claus Lew Williamson has brought the spirit of Christmas to NEPA. Whether you waved to him during the parade, sat on his lap at Corky's garden center, or were privileged enough to have him come to your house and celebrate Christmas with you and your family.
Lew would sit and talk with the kids and adults, he would make you feel like you were the only person in the room. He made you feel special and truly brought the Christmas spirit alive.
This past week tributes have poured in from across the country about how truly amazing this man was. To say I am devastated is an understatement. I was fortunate to have Lew in my life since I was a teenager, I was also lucky enough to be one of his head elves in the Scranton Parade. Lew attended my wedding (as Lew and as Santa), he was the one to reveal the gender of my son (confused thinking we were having twins with pink tissue paper and a blue ornament), He brought my son on as an elf in the 2019 parade, I went camping with him a few times and in November I was so fortunate to have him visit my house in Virginia. I can honestly go on and on about all the wonderful memories with him and I am sure the majority of you can recall special memories.
I am using this Gofundme platform as a way to try and lessen the financial burden on the Williamson family. It is hard enough to have to say See you later to Santa but when things do start to settle they will be overwhelmed with medical expenses from his month-long battle with COVID.
The family has started a fundraiser with amazing shirts (the link is posted here too) to help with the future medical expenses they are expecting, but I thought the additional help with also help take the burden off their shoulders.

Please consider donating here or purchasing a t-shirt, either way, you will be helping them. We were all so fortunate that they shared their Husband, Father, and grandfather with all of us for so many years, they deserve this help!
