GRANNY AND HER COMMUNITY'S HURRICANE FUND

In 2022, Hurricane Agatha directly hit the home, village and chapel of "Granny" (abuela) where she lives with her daughter, son, six grandchildren and the many dogs that they have rescued. The Hurricane destroyed their house. They now have no roof, no kitchen, no living room, no tables, and no chairs. Many of their other belongings (plates, pans etc) were carried away by gusts of wind of over 205 km per hour. Many lost their jobs and workplaces.

 

The community is devastated. Many do not even have a place to sleep.
