BREAKING NEWS FROM THE LAPLAND HERALD!
RUDOLPH AND HIS GANG CANT GET ROUND THE 14 DAY QUARANTINE!!!
XMAS IS CANCELLED................... OR IT WAS GOING TO BE , UNTIL LOCAL FUNDRAISER BILL HODGSON STEPPED IN.
On Saturday 12th December Bill is going to embark on another crazy endurance challenge to raise some much needed funds for some very worthy local charities.
He's going to do a marathon .......... and a bit, with a slight twist.
Bills going to be pulling Santa and his sleigh ......... for the full 26 miles ..... and a bit from Fleetwood to Kirkham.
Santas gym has been shut since March and he is fatter than ever so this challenge is once again going to push Bill to his limits and we would love it if you could help.
He is so FAT this year that Peter Marquis has had to have him a special sleigh built to take his increased weight.
2020 has been difficult for us all and this is especially true for these independant local charities who have been unable to fundraise in there normal manner.
The charities that Bill is raising money for are:
Donna's Dream House
The Space Centre Preston
Rock FM Cash For Kids
Secret Santa Blackburn
Kirkham Food Bank
Kirkham Integrated Stroke Support KISS
All the funds raised will be split equally between the 6 charities.
The support Bill received on his last challenge was incredible and he would really appreciate it if you could dig deep again and support him in his latest challenge.
We look forward to seeing you somewhere along his route on the 12th of December.
