Santana & Rafael Rendon Help Fund

Hello,

My name is Sam, and I’m trying to help my cousin Santana and her husband Rafael Rendon in the most heartbreaking time of their lives. You see, Santana and Rafael have a blended family with 5 children here on earth, and one precious baby in heaven that Santana miscarried last January. After losing a baby she never got to meet, she thought that was it, she should just be grateful for the sweet blessings she already had. But Remington was meant to be, coincidences don’t happen like this. The day Santana went in for surgery to get a hysterectomy for her own medical reasons, she did the normal work up as anyone would. The nurse comes in and tells her, we cannot do your surgery, you’re pregnant! Wow. She was in shock, she thought she was ending this chapter of her life forever. She went home with smiles and joy. Well this miracle baby had other plans. On the same day Santana found out her baby was a girl, became first the best and then worst day of her life. Remington has a skeletal disease called Thanatophoric dysplasia. This is an extremely rare disease, that just happened. Nothing caused it, it wasn’t genetic, it is one of those one in a million chance things that nobody ever thinks will actually happen to them. Well it happened to the Rendon family, and it’s hitting hard. Remington will only live anywhere from minutes to hours. So now while the parents of this sweet baby have to grieve their child before ever meeting her, they also have to figure out how a family of 7 is going to financially stay afloat while paying for hospital expenses and funeral costs. So if we can do one thing for two of the most kind, generous, pure hearted human beings I’ve ever met… let it be to take the burden of money off of their shoulders.
