Santathon 2020 Toys & Warm Clothing Drive for Kids

Your support last year meant the world to us. Our virtual 2020 Santathon raised $8,500 in GoFundMe and cash donations that went toward buying toys, much-needed clothing, and winter accessories for kids in Queens most in need, all in time for Christmas, as well as toward buying food for local food pantries that were facing severe shortages. Your in-person toy donations at all of our pub locations were also an extraordinary hit and a wonderful example of Sunnyside's generosity.

This year's 10th Annual Santathon will take place on Saturday, Dec. 11th. While this year's Santathon will once again be an in-person festive (and fully vaccinated) pub crawl for charity, we are again hosting a GoFundMe for our friends & supporters who cannot make it on the day but would like to donate from afar . As always, 100% of GoFundMe donations thru the month of December will go toward buying toys & winter clothing that owners & staff will personally deliver to local organizations that will distribute them to kids and families in time for Christmas and the start of a hopeful New Year. Since 2012, our annual Santathon celebration and toy & clothing drive for charity has become a staple of the holiday season in Sunnyside, Queens, and an instrumental source of donations for kids in and around our neighborhood most in need. Throughout all of our annual events, and with the help of our incredible friends, neighbors, and patrons, we have raised over $50,000 for local charities and causes. But the organizations that have counted on us at this time of year now need our help more than ever. The families and children they serve are facing unimaginable challenges. So this 2020, Sunnyside’s Boulevard Bars invite you to join us for a re-imagined virtual Santathon in these unprecedented times.
