If your from watsonville ca there is a very good chance you knew my father.
Santiago Estrada Tehandon lived in watsonville for over 40 years.
Unfortunately my father passed away on Christmas morning at the age of 80 after battling covid-19 and a heart condition. This was a great loss to our family. He was well know by many for being a great part of our community.
Santiago worked at S.Martinelli co. For 36 years. When he retired he dedicated his spare to time help the comunity how ever he could. In February of this year he was proudly recognized by the second harvest food bank, state senate and many others as “hunger fighter of the year”, and for dedicating over 15 years of his life to the second harvest food bank as food ambassador (the proudest moment of my life). He also dedicated a lot of his spare time volunteering at our lady help of Christian Catholic Church in watsonville.
Santiago was a very selfless and humble person and always wanted to help how
ever he could.
This fund is to help with funeral and family costs during this hard time. Although he may now be gone, I know that his time, dedication and memory to the comunity will live on.
Thank you all for your time and generosity during this very difficult time for our family.
