Saoirse McHugh GE2020
Donation protected
So here I go again! A new year and a new campaign.
I'm trying to take a seat in Mayo in the next general election. History indicates that it won't be easy, the main parties have held on here for a long time and are well resourced. But everyone I meet seems to be ready for something different.
I believe I can be a voice in Mayo for the type of climate action that empowers and restores rural communities. Mayo can be part of a wider global movement towards social justice and environmental protection, and I want to play my part in this.
Any funds raised will be used for advertising and promotion during the campaign. I need to be as visible as my competitors to stand a chance. We will be complimenting this visibility with hard work on the doors, listening to people and helping to change attitudes.
It won't be easy but it can be done. Thank you so much for your help and I promise to do my utmost in return.
If making a donation please adhere to the SIPO guidelines:
“Donations can only be accepted from residents of the Republic of Ireland or Irish citizens abroad. By donating, you confirm that you are an Irish resident or an Irish citizen living overseas and that you have not exceeded the maximum annual donation to the Green Party of €2,500. Your name and details will be held by the Green Party and used to cross reference against other donations to guarantee compliance. Records held for the purpose of compliance will be held only for the statutory period then deleted and will not be used for any other purpose or shared.”
