Saphyre Studio Camera Replacement

Hello Everyone,

Saphyre Studios is a faith based photography company that was started in the middle of a pandemic by myself, Carlos and my wife Christine Jusino. With how depressing things were at that time we were looking for an outlet and hop back into photography. We noticed that although the world seemed like it stopped and many people were isolated or confined to certain restrictions, the world was still able to communicate and stay relatable through photography and videography. We took joy in helping people in hard times; celebrate and connect in creative ways with their family when they couldn’t physically. We end up finding a huge passion in doing weddings and capturing people special moments during this rough time. I know it sounds cheesy but we honestly love what we do and we really want people to have a good experience when doing photography with us.

During that time unfortunately my wife lost her job due to having a racist boss. As much as she fought she was release from her job unfairly but took that as a chance to jump into the photography full time. Shortly after I decided to follow, seeing her struggles in balancing everything when she got busy and quit my job to pursue photography full time.

Fast forward, on October of 2022 we found out we were pregnant as exciting it was my wife unfortunately had a rough pregnancy and there is when our business started slowing down. She ended up being in the hospital with the risk of losing our child, up until a couple of weeks before our son was born. During that time we couldn’t take a lot of jobs I was on my own and couldn’t do weddings by myself. We unfortunately didn’t have anyone we could trust to help us with jobs so we had to turn down a lot of jobs. I also did not want to leave my wife alone seeing how she was struggling a lot emotionally during that time. Fast forward our son was born on April 22, 2022 although he was a premie we were happy he got here safely and alive. It was during this time our business really went down due to our son being in the nicu for a month and half . We were just focus on him being healthy!

Fast forwarding we have been taking this year to really try to pick up our business after a rough year last year. We thank God for it all especially since on April 22, 2023, we got to celebrate our son Ezra’s first birthday.

Unfortunately, after his birthday we ran into an unprecedented circumstance that is jeopardizing our photography company. We found out that the motherboard on our camera has naturally gone bad. Unfortunately are business is still not there yet ;where can afford to get another camera on our own. We are still trying to pick up pieces from the time we were down bad from my wife’s pregnancy. We have been forced to rent equipment which is changing the profit into the household where we won’t be able to afford to rent camera equipment anymore.

We really truly work hard for our business sacrifice a lot along the way, and truly want to build a better future for ourselves. We have been thought a lot and thankful to God for it all and helping us get through it but We are not ready to give up! We truly value our business, existing clients and any potential clients, so a price increase is not the route we would like to go. We would rather replace the camera so we can provide the same great service with out comparable pricing.
