Sara Derrico's Medical Fund

My sweet friend Sara was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (of an unknown primary, which is very rare) on Feb 21st, after weeks of strange headaches and dizziness.  After multiple tests and scans, the doctors still haven't found an origin. She has multiple lesions: three on her C-spine, one on her boracic, one in her right seventh bone and two in her lumbar. Because of this, her spine is not stable so most likely after chemo, she will also need to have back surgery. Sara and her husband, Eric, now have to put William, their three year old son, in some sort of daycare over the summer because Sara cannot lift over 5 pounds, bend at the waist, or bend at the knees. She is very limited on activity because of the holes on her spine. Sara's chemo treatments will go throughout the summer. She will be traveling back and forth to Jacksonville, FL from Hahira, GA in order to receive the best possible care. All of her family is trying to help the best they can, but everyone lives out of town with full time jobs. We are asking for any help at all, even a simple prayer is appreciated. Any money raised will go toward Sara's medical bills (the current amount owed is $10,500), traveling costs and child care costs.
