Sara Holzgen Memorial Scholarship Fund

Sara Holzgen DO, passed away unexpectantly in a car accident on January 9th, 2022. Her loss is felt deeply by our entire community. If you were blessed enough to have had even one interaction with Sara, you were forever changed for the better. Sara filled a room or rink with a bright smile, laughter and a genuine conversation.  Once you met Sara you never forgot her. Sara was a loud and proud hockey and soccer mom. If she was in the stands, you’d hear her cowbell just ringing away. Her personality was bigger than her hair poof and she was honestly just one of the best people. She thrived on having fun and making sure everyone around her was doing the same. Her love for people and her desire to make experiences possible for all is why we started this memorial fund. Sara was the true definition of a selfless giver. Funds from this fundraiser will be used to provide scholarships to local hockey and soccer players. We are hosting a memorial hockey game on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 at Mercy Health Arena in Muskegon, MI at 1:30pm. We would love to see you there but if you are unable to make it any donations are greatly appreciated!
