Medical Hardship Fund for Sara Logan
Donation protected
Sara Logan was a 4th grade teacher at Stow for 35 years and retired in 2011. She loved her students and had an unmatched zest for life. She was looking forward to starting the Silver Sneakers program at her gym this year, but that changed as Sara suffered a tragic accident in December 2019. She fell down her basement steps and fractured her neck, resulting in paralysis from the neck down. After fighting for her life during an acute care stay and attending rehab at Metro, Sara was brought home where she is being cared for by her spouse and some home nursing support. We are raising money to help them with the vast number of medical costs that they are incurring. We are also trying to help get her into a spinal cord injury rehab unit that is out of state. We hope this will help with housing as well as transportation to this facility. Sara has several other medical needs as well and we would love to help in any small way possible. We ask for continued prayers that some of her mobility returns, as well as any financial support that you may be able to provide in order to slightly relieve some of these tremendous financial burdens brought on by this very tragic accident. We appreciate you all and any support you can provide!
