The Greater Derry Humane Society needs your help. We are a small, all volunteer/all foster organization, and we depend on donations and fundraisers to be able to help our animals. We currently have two very sick dogs that need medical care.
Sarabi needs months of care to save her life. On the outside, she looks healthy and happy and ready to find her forever home after being rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.
Sadly, our vet has found that Sarabi has moderate heartworms, impacting her lungs also. Untreated, this young dog will suffer a long, slow death. She is depending on us to treat her and save her life.

Shep, the dog on the stretcher above, was recently diagnosed with a tumor on her right adrenal gland. This is inoperable and most likely cancerous. It is slow growing and we are devoted to giving Shep months of spoiling and love.
