I am Sara Awotwe, a 55-year-old Ghanaian mother of three who find myself in a challenging and unexpected chapter of life. I am reaching out to you in the hope that you will come to my aid so I can live.

About 4 weeks ago, I was diagnosed with this life-threatening medical condition (brain aneurysm) that requires urgent and complex surgery which is not just a necessary medical procedure but also required for me to stay alive.

The estimated cost of the surgery (to be performed at the Euracare Advanced Diagnostic Centre in Ghana) is between US$ 10,000 to US$ 30,000 excluding cost of medication, hospital stay and post-surgery care. This financial burden is so substantial that my family and I cannot carry alone with the meagre income from my petty trading and limited family resources. That is why I come to you pleading for your generosity and compassion to help me access urgent and critical medical care.
