Sarah and Joel North Relief Fund for Baby Emma

Hi, I'm Megan, Sarah's sister.
Today (12/22), I have decided based on new information about Sarah and Joel's insurance coverage and current bills to increase the goal to $20,000. We are so grateful for each generous gift and by no means feel entitled to your kindness. Ultimately, we know God will provide for their needs. 
On December 13th, Sarah and Joel welcomed their beautiful baby girl Emma Faye, into the world. Following her delivery, there were some complications that led to baby Emma Faye being admitted into the NICU. Doctors expect that she will be in the NICU for 3-4 WEEKS (new info from 12/16) and need continuing care and follow-up for months to come. Although Sarah and Joel do have insurance, it will not pay for all of these expenses. On top of that, Sarah had some pregnancy related issues and Sarah and Joel were already working hard to cover medical costs. Sarah also only has about 3 weeks of paid maternity leave. Sarah and Joel are hard-working, Jesus loving people. They are trusting in God's perfect plan for their family and know that He is good and faithful.

I would like to shower them with love from their friends and family during this challenging time and take some of the stress of finances off their minds.

*$3,500-4,000 to replace Sarah's lost income

*$20,000+ toward uncovered medical expenses

*$200 (thanks to a dear friend, this has been donated!) for a newborn photo shoot (Sarah and Joel were not planning to have one to save on cost, but with such a challenging first couple weeks, I would like to give this to them as a special gift. Any mama who has been in the NICU, knows that you miss out on a lot of special moments. This will be something special to look forward to and so nice for them to have some sweet photos of their family when they get home)
