Sarah Anderson's Cancer Fund

Sarah Anderson was diagnosed with Gray Zone Lymphoma on June 12th, 2020. Prior to being diagnosed, she was in University Hospitals for 10 days due to coughing fits, difficulty breathing, and a large mass inside of her left lung. All of her lymph nodes are effected, and there is another mass above her liver. Currently she is spending time at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH after just three days of being out with her family. She is being treated for a large pleural effusion near her heart, and pneumonia in her right lung. Today she begins emergency chemotherapy (June 22nd, 2020), to help reduce the mass and alleviate the pressure on her lungs, trachea, and heart. She will be getting regular chemotherapy treatments from this moment forward.
Sarah will be struggling to keep up with finances due to her inability to work for at least 6 months, most likely longer. She is a mother of two boys, one 15 years old, the other 7. While she was well, Sarah worked for Lutheran Village Assisted Living in Ashland, and took care of the elderly. It goes without saying that Sarah is the nurturing type, and a skilled STNA. Her family is doing their best to remain strong, but as with any cancer patient the amount of emotional and financial strain is draining. On top of housing concerns, Sarah’s car won’t start and her partner’s car is in need of repair. Her partner’s hours have also been cut. Please consider donating to support Sarah with her ongoing battle against Lymphoma. Your donation will go towards helping her pay rent, car repairs, food for her and her family, and any left over medical responsibilities that her insurance will not cover. Any donation you provide is appreciated, for Sarah and her family are in immediate need of anything you can provide.
