Sarah Bethune

My name is Jennifer and I am Sarah’s mother. On 9/26/2022 I received notice that my daughter passed away. It’s a shock to me and I’m still trying to process her death. Sarah was only 23. She was a bright spirit, funny, outgoing, caring, and loving person. She always was full of life and a fighter to the fullest. Life however dealt Sarah many obstacles. She became a mom at 15, she tried to balance finish school and taking care of her kids but it was overwhelming. Sarah later turned to hard drugs to cope with life and her mental illness. In 2021 she stopped drugs and started to turn her life around. Sarah became employed and maintained her recovery. She even was an inspiration to me to continue my own sobriety. Sarah loved people, she was a listening ear to many. She helped her friends out the best way she could. Sarah was loved by many. We didn’t anticipate her leaving us so soon. Any funds received will be used towards funeral arrangements. Thank you in advance
