Sarah Cunningham Cancer Treatment Support

Hi, friends! We’re starting this fundraiser for Sarah Cunningham to help support her as she undergoes treatment for colon cancer. We met Sarah in 2021 when our daughter was in her PK2 class at Mount Vernon. Sarah made the transition easy for all of us with her kind words, her nurturing spirit, and her upbeat attitude and her playful sense of style. She knows exactly how to put a toddler at ease and bring out their best qualities through play and gentle guidance, helping them to develop into their best selves at an early age. Prior to teaching PK2, she worked with children with autism using the same patient and caring manner. She has a heart of gold. Despite her busy days with a class of 2-year-olds, she spends her evenings working on her masters degree to further her teaching knowledge. She also enjoys playing the guitar and yoga.

Our hope is to give Sarah the support, both financially and emotionally, to focus on her treatment so she can kick cancer to the curb once and for all. She has touched the lives of so many families, and we want her to know she has our full support!
