Sarah Dubois: FISU World University Games in Italy

I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected to play for Canada at the World University Games (FISU) this July in Naples, Italy. ⚽️ The Summer Universiade is one of the largest multi-sport and cultural events in the world, drawings thousands of student-athletes together in a different city every two years.

After finishing my 6 year university soccer career with my McGill Martlets this past fall, I was invited to take part in selection camps for Team Canada. It is a dream come true to be selected for this team, and I look forward to the privilege of having this once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

Unfortunately at this time, the national team is not funded by Sport Canada. Costs of attending this competition include accommodation in athlete villages, flights, a training camp in Portugal and tournament participation fees. With a short time-frame to raise funds, my journey will rely on the generosity of friends and family to help make this dream come true. Every little bit helps.

Thank you in advance for any and all help in chasing the beautiful game across the world. It is the support of my community, friends and family that have gotten me here.  I'll do my best to make you proud!
