Sarah Fish (McKay)

Our daughter Sarah Fish ( McKay), mother to three young children and devoted wife and daughter has been challenged with cardiac issues her whole life and has never been properly diagnosed until her symptoms became aggressive this past year. This has lead our family on a journey filled with many miles traveled up and down the state to doctor appointments and medical tests that has ultimately lead us to seek medical care and guidance from the amazing group of doctors and staff at Stanford Medical's Adult Congenital Heart Program.
It was at Stanford that the kind and professional physicians diagnosed Sarah with Heart failure (PAPVR) and laid a plan to repair her heart to restore blood flow and much needed oxygen to her ailing body and organs. This will require Sarah to undergo an open heart procedure that requires her pulmonary veins being rerouted to and through her left and right atriums of her heart. The recovery from this will require a lifetime of return visits to physicians and specialists at Stanford. She will need to be away from her children for a period of time until she is released from the hospital to travel home from the Bay Area.
Through this entire process Sarah and her husband's trust in the Lord has been unwavering. They walk with the Lord and
keep their eyes fixed upon Him as they follow the path He has laid for them.
Sarah has been blessed with great insurance through her husband's employment. But the cost of travel, housing and meals become expensive. They are a single income household so needless to say these expenses are adding up. We want to raise money to help her through this season of life.
Anything we can contribute will be helpful, and hopefully ease some of the stress she is going through, so she can focus on her health.
