Sarah Frye in her brave battle with leukemia

Hi, My name is Deana, and I'm fundraising for a dear family friend, Lisa Frye. Her daughter, 13-year-old Sarah, was diagnosed with leukemia this week. Lisa became a widow three years ago when her beloved husband, Stephen, died suddenly.

Lisa now raises Rachel, 19, Seth, 16, and Sarah, 13, on her own. Their family shares a profound faith in the Catholic church. Together, they pray for Sarah's strength and recovery as she begins chemotherapy sessions at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston this week.
