Sarah Hairrell's Battle Against Cancer
Donation protected
I'm raising funds for my brother, Craig Minear and the family of his fiancé, Sarah Hairrell.
Craig's fiancé, Sarah, was diagnosed with a brain tumor three days after her birthday in July 2019. She underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor a week after her diagnosis. It was then that the surgeons discovered she had a very rare and aggressive form of brain cancer and would need immediate chemo and radiation therapies to prolong what little time she had left.
Soon after her initial surgery, an infection delayed the chemo and radiation treatments. The doctors and surgeons attempted several surgeries and rounds of antibiotics/medications to fight the infection; but, ultimately, the infection spread to her brain and would not subside. Last week the doctors shared the news that they were not able to assist Sarah any further and she would be moved to hospice care.
Sarah is such a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was always so positive and could light up the room with her joyful smile. She was welcoming of anybody and everybody and was always willing to give whatever she could to help anyone in need. She is a rare form of real and genuine beauty - a true Wonder Woman.
The funds that are raised will assist the family with out-of-pocket expenses associated with such tragic circumstances.
On behalf of our families, I can't thank you enough for surrounding us with love and support. Thank you, truly.
